The Perks of Going Alone.
LeBurn Maddox is a blues/soul artist from the USA currently living in the UK and touring Europe. He made a stop in Kosice the other night and we hit it off. He was such an amazing down to earth guy and absolute blast to talk to. During their mid set break I went over to talk to him. He immediately welcomed me especially once he found out we were from the same country. After finding out I was a student he offered to buy me a drink and take a 3rd off the price of his cd for me. He also let me sit with his manager off to the side of the stage for the second part of the show because they were better seats than what I had. It was a pleasure talking to someone who knows so much about music and enjoys the same type of music. Blues/Soul Music is hard to find in Slovakia. I would recommend anyone to go and see him if possible. The combination of his personality and music was superb.
His manager yelled at him after doing this by saying those are my drums not yours!
Do not ask me why the guitar is transparent and so are his jeans in this picture, also there is no editing of this picture this it what I took and its what showed up.
Well this is probably a little over due by most standards. My bad. So here is an update of what I have been doing recently. In no particular order.
Andy Warhol Museum, my host family took me there, it is the 2nd largest collection of original Andy Warhol art in the world, His family was from the town which I cant remember the name, probably let alone spell correctly. Art is in the eye of the beholder, I didn't understand his art it was a little out there. but I liked the statue of him quite a lot.
Scorpions Live in Kosice, They really kicked some butt even though they aren't as young as they used to be. They always kept the show going, non stop, Kottak (pictured below) was just flat out insane, not quite to the level of Tommy Lee from Motley Crue insane, but he was up there, literally 60 feet in the air standing on his drums at one point in time. And I mean standing on his two base drums 60 feet in the air no harness. It was a great show though.

Charles bridge in black and white.
Street performer at the castle
My spray paint on the Lennon wall it says "Hug Me" with a drawing of arms, it is on all the boxes my mom sends me so I thought it would be fitting to put it on the wall and surround it with my stencils
Slightly creepy with only red being shown in the picture.
The stencils I made, made ten of these and am going to give the stencils away as gifts, I would say they turned out really well.
There is a story here if you wanna hear. late last year a group of students painted the entire wall white. yes covered all the art work dating back many years and turned the wall white with the black lettering of "The Wall Is Over" this is the remnants of that turned into "Is For Ever"
Orloj astronomical clock Prague city center
Amazing street performer.

Guitar Museum in Slovakia
A very 70's guitar with its own amp on it.
Man do I love this color!
A Rickenbacker 12 string copy.
Unsure if its a real Gibson or not, people there didn't know either.
Awesome flying V
Amplifier supposedly used by Led Zeppelin
Plastic guitar from the Ukraine.
So many guitars in one place! only a third of the collection is out because they are adding on.
That's some real nice wood grain.
A guitar shaped like a bottle of coca cola.
Yes those are real coca cola bottle caps.
